About Competitive Math |
Math taught in schools has some flaws - it is often relies too heavily on just memorization, does not cover many important regions of math such as number theory, and may not be challenging enough for talented students. Learning math for competitions, such as the AMC or AIME, is beneficial for students because it addresses the flaws of math taught in schools. Competitive math forces students to think quickly and creatively to form novel solutions, contains advanced subjects like probability, and challenges even the brightest of students. For those who want to truly dive into the world of mathematics, our courses are perfect places to start.

About Our Courses |
All classes are designed by a veteran of Competition Math Training who founded the Mathcounts Program at Oxford Academy and the Math Program at Landell and served as program Director/Coach for 8 years before leading the Math programs at YEA.
Ever since our inception, we have been producing high levels of success. Perhaps our greatest success story so far was propelling a 4th grader all the way to AIME level math, which is usually too difficult for even high school students. Our curriculum is designed specifically to tackle all of the tricky areas in math competitions because we teach numerous ways to tackle each type of problem and advanced methods not found in a school curriculum. Because we are nonprofit, we can offer prices that are much lower and much more affordable than other places, which may offer courses starting at a hefty $1000+ |
