Accelerated Math

About Accelerated Math

The purpose of an accelerated math class is the focus on the school math curriculum so that students can achieve better performance in school.  It will also provide help on students' homework and difficult problems if necessary.

About Our Courses

During the summer, it is especially advantageous to take a course covering the upcoming school year's math curriculum so the course at school will feel easier and students can then enjoy the benefits of a lightened workload. If students are struggling to catch that precious A in class, accelerated math courses are a way to make that jump from a B to an A. Perhaps most importantly, taking a math course in the summer keeps the mind sharp instead of becoming dull from lack of practice. Here at YEA, we make courses to produce all of these benefits for students of all ages!

Course List:

Accelerated Math

  • Designed to help students  in their school curriculum.  All students are expected to bring a laptop computer to do some in-class practices.
  • 10 classes, 2 hours per class
  • Sunday at 2:00 - 4:00 PM
  • $500 for early-bird, $500 otherwise for two or more students per class.  1 on 1 classes will be charged based on the private tutoring rates.

Accelerated Math 7:
  • Designed to help the incoming 7th graders to take an advanced level of Math in 7th grade or take a placement test by their schools. Most schools don't encourage students to skip math classes, but may allow students to take a placement test to skip a level of math class in 7th grade.  This is a golden opportunity for those who want to take a more advanced math in their grade at school.
  • 10 classes, 2 hours per class
  • Thursday at 6:30 - 8:30 PM
  • $500 for early-bird, $600 otherwise for two or more students per class.
