YEA started in May of 2016 after the success of a TARC Rocketry Team by two high school students, Nicholas Fu and Lia Tian. It has grown exponentially to organize programs/activities like TARC, CyberPatriot, Math Competitions, Rubik's Cube Competitions, '24' Competitions, Summer Camps, STEM Night at some elementary schools, etc.. A student board at YEA is formed every school year to organize student-led activities. There is something for every student from 1st to 12th grade at YEA, as either a student or a volunteer.
Nicholas Fu is a graduate from Oxford Academy, a part of AUHSD. A 4 year veteran in TARC, Nick has had loads of experience in engineering and is the leader of the YEA Camps and Classes.
